Washington wines have an international reputation for high quality, and ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is located in the heart of Washington wine country. You’ll get hands-on practice in laboratories, vineyards, and wineries and learn from professors who are national and international experts in viticulture and enology (wine science). Our hands-on degree programs in wine science get students ready for their careers in the vineyard or as a winemaker.
WSU Blended Learning allows students the opportunity to partner with regional wineries to gain experience in all steps of the winemaking process and produce premium wines.
ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is home to the world-renowned Ste. Michelle Wine Estates WSU Wine Science Center, which is one of the only comprehensive wine research facilities in the world.Ìý
Students gain hands-on experience cultivating a vineyard and growing wine grapes through the Albert Ravenholt Research and Teaching Vineyard on campus.

Master’s and doctoral programs are officially offered through the Pullman campus, although students may complete mostÌýof their degree requirements on the Tri-Cities campus. Students interested in this programsÌýÌýto be accepted. Prospective students are encouraged to contact the department about the availability of coursework, research, and faculty advisors at the Tri-Cities campus.
