RICHLAND, Wash.–The apartmentscurrently being constructedon the Washington State University Tri-Cities campus are now taking applications for when they open this fall.

The apartments, knownas The Brelsford Vineyards,are scheduled to openin August 2018 intimefor fall semesterat سԹ.For more information and to apply, visit.

The apartments, which will be located north of the Consolidated Information Center at سԹ,will feature one, two, three and four-bedroom units that willeachinclude a washer and dryeranda full-sized kitchen. Other amenities on the apartmentgroundswill include a heated swimming pool, sport court, recreation and fitness rooms, community study rooms, a barbecue area and reserved covered parking options.

The apartments are ownedbyVineyards Apartments, LLC,and operated by DABCOProperty Management, which alsomanages several apartment complexes near the WSU Pullman campus.

سԹ partnered with Corporate Pointe Developerswho has formed Vineyards Apartments, LLC,andagreed to build the apartments on the university campus in an effort to provide students with an on-campus housing option.The joint venture was approved by the WSU Board of Regents.

“We are extremely excitedto be a part of the WSU family in Richland,” said Corporate Pointe Developers President DuaneBrelsford. “Furthermore, we are focused on providing a full-time living experience for WSU students where they can live andlearn, next to the WSU campus.”

Although the apartments are not managed by سԹ, Chris Meiers, vice chancellor of student affairs, said the proximity of the apartmentsonuniversitygroundswill significantlyimproveaccess to educational resourcesfor studentson campus.

“Simply by having an on-campus housing option, students are closer to their classes, academic resources like tutoring and study spaces, as well as the library,” he said. “They are also more likely to connect with their peers on a personal leveland are more encouraged to get involved in campus programming, whichreinforces persistence and academic success.”

RICHLAND, Wash. – Groundbreaking for the 800-bed student housing complex at Washington State University Tri-Cities will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, north of the Consolidated Information Center.

“This housing complex will add to student success and, into the future, industry success,” said Moo-Young. “Students will be closer to on-campus resources, as well as industry opportunities just up the street at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Hanford Site contractors and other world-class industry and research-based organizations.

سԹ signed a land lease agreement for approximately 15 acres in July. The complex will be owned, operated and maintained by Corporate Pointe Developers, LLC. The first of seven phases, which will include 165 beds, is expected to be ready in fall 2017.
