Registration

If you are currently enrolled at any of the WSU campuses, then you do not need to apply for admission to Summer Session. Simply register for Summer Session courses on .

Registration for Summer 2026 courses begins on March 9, 2026, and is open through the beginning of each session. There are no advising holds for summer, but be sure to discuss any summer enrollment plans with your Academic Advisor.

If you have recently been admitted for the fall semester and would like to take summer courses, simply contact the Office of Admissions and request that your admission be back-dated to include Summer Session. Once you have been back-dated for summer, you may log into your account to register for courses. Be sure to speak with an Academic Advisor before enrolling.

Are you planning to transfer to ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï for the fall semester? Why not come early for a summer course or two? The first Summer Session courses begin in early May. However, students transferring from schools on a quarter system usually register for ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï summer courses scheduled during our Late 6-Week session, which begins mid-June. An Admissions Counselor will be happy to help you with your application.

Tuition and Fees

All students, regardless of their residency, pay in-state tuition.

Undergraduate Tuition: $614.90/credit

Graduate Tuition:Ìý$705.30/credit

Summer tuition rates do not apply to MBA, Executive MBA, graduate engineering, and professional programs.

Tuition is due the first day of the session.

During Summer Session, there is no 2-credit minimum requirement. If you attend Pullman campus classes, whether in Pullman or online, you will incur to cover amenities and services.

Auditing a Course: The rate to audit a course during Summer Session is $194/credit plus mandatory fees. Auditing a course is approved on a space-available basis and individuals may seek permission to audit after the start of the course. Audit fees are non-refundable.

Tuition is due on the first day of class; assessment of late fees for unpaid tuition will begin on the dates listed under Summer Session Dates & Deadlines. Fees are cumulative; accounts will be assessed a fee on each deadline that the balance remains unpaid.

CURRENT TERM WITHDRAWAL

Withdrawing from the current term will remove all of your courses for the current semester. This includes any classes taken concurrently on multiple WSU campuses and through Global Campus.

If you submit a term withdrawal AFTER the dropÌýwithout penalty deadline, all tuition and fees will still be owed.

If done BEFORE the drop without penalty deadline, there will be a 100% refund of tuition and fees.

There is no cancellation fee for the summer semester.

Refunds for classes only occur if a class is dropped BEFORE the drop without penalty deadline.

Financial Aid

In order to be considered for Financial Aid, you must:

  1. for the 2025-2026Ìýschool year. Your FAFSA must be received and processed by WSU by June 30.
  2. Be admitted to WSU as a degree-seeking student.
  3. Register for at least 6 credits (undergraduate students) or at least 3 credits (graduate students).

NOTE: Continuing students must be making satisfactory academic progress (SAP) toward completion of a degree. .

Typically, federal financial aid for summer consists of grants and loans that a student may have qualified for during the academic year, but did not accept or use.

NOTE: Some students may experience a delay in delivery of their summer financial aid until spring semester grades are posted to their transcripts and verified for satisfactory progress.
