After a year of planning, hundreds of hours of volunteerism and a whole lot of hard work, Tri-County Partners Habitat for Humanity and Washington State University Tri-Cities will present a Burmese refugee family with the keys to their first home.

We invite our volunteers and campus community to attend a key exchange ceremony, which will take place at noon Aug. 27 at the home’s site, 304 N. Charles St. in Pasco, Wash. During the key exchange ceremony, Habitat Director Lisa Godwin, the Sha La family, Brent Ellis and the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï student volunteer coordinator who led the construction on the project, will say a few words.
