Curriculum and Instruction, Ed.M.

The Ed.M. degree program is designed for students with bachelor’s degrees who have an interest in deepening their knowledge in a specific content area (in or outside the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences), as well as educational research in curriculum and instruction.

Educational Leadership, Ed.M. and Ed.D.

Graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels and administrator certification programs for the superintendent, residency principal, and residency program administrator certificates. The master’s (Ed.M.) and doctoral (Ed.D.) degree programs offer specializations in K-12 educational leadership.

Language, Literacy, and Technology, Ed.M.

This non-thesis Ed.M. degree prepares graduates for academic and leadership positions in teaching, research, and service, with a focus on social justice.

Mathematics and Science Education, Ph.D.*

The Ph.D. in Mathematics and Science Education is designed to develop scholars capable of making important contributions to the research base, professional context, and learning environments related to mathematics and science education.

NOTE: The Ph.D. program is officially offered through the Pullman campus, although students may complete all of their degree requirements on the Tri-Cities campus. Students interested to be accepted.

Master in Teaching (MIT)

The Master in Teaching (M.I.T.) is a program in which students concurrently pursue a master’s degree and an elementary or secondary teaching certificate. WSU provides certification (endorsements) for individuals to teach either at the elementary level (K-8) or in certain subject areas at the secondary level.
